[ARCHIVED] Jeffco Community Resources

community

During these difficult times, it may be a struggle to find the appropriate resources to support yourselves or your families. In an ongoing effort to continue serving customers and keep our community informed, Jefferson County Human Services has created a Community Resources Page to navigate needed resources virtually. This page will provide you housing, food, rent assistance, and many other resources that can be accessed by residents statewide.

Also, for statewide human services resources, The Colorado State Emergency Operations Center activated 2-1-1 Colorado to connect the public with resources. Mile High United Way 2-1-1 Colorado is a confidential and multilingual service connecting people to vital resources across the state and is the COVID-19 resource and referral hub for information and resources statewide. No matter where you live in Colorado, you can find information about resources in your local community. You can call, text, live chat, or search the 2-1-1 database to get help. Dial three simple numbers – 2-1-1 – and reach Mile High United Way’s 2-1-1 Help Center, or text your zip code to 898-211 (message and data rates apply).

If you need assistance with food, rent, or paying other bills, as a result of COVID-19, some emergency assistance may be available. This assistance is intended to help stabilize households that have been impacted by COVID-19. The level of assistance is based on your household’s situation, considering program limitations and guidelines. For more information visit the Jeffco Human Services Emergency Assistance page.

Note: If applying for Unemployment Benefits save your work as often as possible and follow these guidelines.
