Paving activities will continue at the W. Quincy Avenue and S. Simms Street Intersection on Monday, November 25 between 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Traffic will be stopped between S. Kipling Street and W. Quincy Place and only residents of the Lakehurst Townhomes will be able to go past that closure
The contractor will assure that buses and emergency vehicles can travel through the W. Quincy Avenue and S. Simms Street intersection.

This will be the final full closure for Phase I of the W. Quincy Avenue (S. Swadley Court to S. Simms Street) project, but drivers should expect minor traffic holds through November as crews finalize striping and signage. There will be no work activities between Thursday, November 28 through Sunday, December 1 in observance of Thanksgiving.
