Transportation and Construction Girl is committed to expanding career opportunities for young women, supporting equity for young women, enhancing young women’s self-esteem and helping to meet the workforce shortage in construction.

September 28th starts with fun and cool exhibits from 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds.

Exhibits will include: heavy equipment like excavators, cranes, scissor lifts, flight simulator, excavator simulator, heavy equipment operator simulator, welding exhibit, survey equipment, drones, computer traffic programs, paint simulator, masonry demo, solar panel installation and more.

Attendance for girls is free. However, they must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or school representative. Schools that want to bring a group should email the event promoter.
