Business Personal Property Declaration Due Date

Taxpayers owning taxable personal property (business assets) in Jefferson County as of January 1st of more than $52,000 in total actual value per county, are required to complete and return the Personal Property Declaration Schedule to the assessor by no later than April 15 of each year. When the 15th falls on a weekend the schedule is due the next business day. This is also the deadline to request a filing extension.
