"Interclub", as it's come to be called, is an opportunity for our youngest riders to show off their newly-gained equitation skills. It's also one of the rare occasions when Westernaire riders are asked to compete individually, rather than as a team. All Tenderfoot- and Junior-level riders are grouped into classes by age and perform basic maneuvers that one might see in a Western equitation show (walk, trot, lope, reverse). Independent judges select the top 5 riders from each class for ribbons. The top 3 riders from each class advance to the semi-final rounds. Eventually, the Top 5 riders for the entire club are crowned!
