Job Scam of Reshipping Scam
In this type of scam, the victim responds to a 'work from home' job offer, often to re-ship merchandise. The victim begins to receive merchandise items in the mail, and based on instruction from the fraudsters, the victim repackages the merchandise and forwards it to other locations, sometimes within the United States, but often out of the country.

The merchandise is most often purchased with other victim's compromised or stolen credit card information and the victim ends up being contacted by law enforcement about receiving the merchandise.
