Roof Damage Inspectors Scam
Criminals are trying to take advantage of the recent storms by calling citizens in the Coal Creek Canyon area and pretending to be “roof damage inspectors.” Some calls have come from a 642 number, which initially appears to be local, but when the phone is answered, you can hear the sounds of a call center in the background, according to one resident who received such a call.
