GOLDEN, CO – Jeffco community leader, Renny Fagan, joins forces with Jeffco Human Services Foundation’s (JHSF) to end generational poverty as the nonprofit’s newest board member.
Renny Fagan is a senior consultant with Arrow Performance Group and a senior affiliate of Keystone Policy Center. Renny holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago and a Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern University and has 35 years of experience in facilitation, strategic planning and organizational consulting services to government and nonprofits.
As a Colorado native, Renny has lived in Jefferson County for almost 30 years and has watched the progress of Jeffco Prosperity Partners (JPP), the signature program funded by the Jeffco Human Services Foundation (JHSF). "The work of Jeffco Prosperity Partners changes lives and provides services that leverage both government and nonprofit resources,” says Renny, “By supporting this program, JHSF is leading innovation in Jefferson County.”
Renny has had a long career in public service as a legislator, Governor's cabinet officer, deputy attorney general, and served as the President and CEO of the Colorado Nonprofit Association. With 1,400 nonprofit member organizations statewide, the Association provides knowledge, resources and advocates for the entire nonprofit sector.
“Renny Fagan is a great addition to the Foundation’s board. His experience from his many years as CEO of the Colorado Nonprofit Association enables him to bring valuable insight, business acumen and outreach potential to the board," says Moe Keller, President of the JHSF Board of Directors. “We are thrilled that Renny has such an interest in the JPP program and understands the continued potential of JPP and its impact on the success of families in our community.”
Along with his extensive experience in public policy, he serves on the boards of Mile High United Way, Colorado Channel Authority, and Colorado Education Initiative. He was formerly a board member and chair of the National Council of Nonprofits and served one term on the Colorado Commission on Higher Education.
