Jefferson County will be lining existing storm sewer culverts along West Spread Eagle Mountain from approximately South Mt. Marcy to West Laurel Place and Crestone Mountain from approximately Johnson Court to South Jellison Street.
The existing storm sewer system contains failing corrugated metal pipe. The pipe lining will extend the lifespan of the storm sewer. The project entails installing new pipe liner in the existing corrugated metal pipes. This process will involve cleaning, repairing, and lining the existing culverts to increase the life span of the pipes.
This project received American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding. For more information, please visit the county's ARPA website.
Construction for the culvert lining will begin November 27 and should be completed in December 2023. During construction, the contractor will be required to provide a travel lane during operations. All residential access will be maintained during construction.
