On behalf of the Board of County Commissioners, Commissioner Kraft-Tharp attended, and issued a proclamation, at the 2022 National Adoption Day event on Saturday, November 19.
The day raises awareness for the more than 115,000 youths still in the foster care system in America, many of them waiting on families to adopt them.
