Commissioner Andy Kerr joined others to celebrate the Grand Opening of the Belmar Library Outdoor Adventure Space on November 9.
The new Discover Together Outdoor Adventure Space, located just outside the Children’s area, offers children the opportunity to engage in unstructured play in an outdoor environment. It includes an outdoor play area with physical features and tools to spark imaginative play and learning, like musical instruments and art boards.
The Outdoor Adventure Space was generously supported by Allison Brigham and Warren Roeske in loving memory of Warren A. and Shirley M. Roeske. Additional support was provided by the Jefferson County Library Foundation, the Lakewood Legacy Foundation, MWH Funding, and the Socrates Foundation.
