[ARCHIVED] Marshall Fire Recovery Tour: An Up-close Look

The Jeffco Commissioners attending a Marshall Fire Recovery Tour.jpgThe Board of County Commissioners joined Director Mike Willis, CO Division of Homeland Security & Emergency Management, and his team, on March 3 to tour an area devastated by the Marshall Fire. The tour created an opportunity to learn about the local recovery efforts, policy needs, coordination complexities and other issues facing the community.

On December 30, 2021, the devastating fire roared through Superior and portions of Louisville, Colorado. At last count, 1,084 homes and seven commercial structures were destroyed, and 149 homes and another 30 commercial structures were damaged by the Marshall Fire.
