At their October 4, 2022 public hearing, the Jefferson County Board of County Commissioners issued a proclamation declaring October 2022 Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Attending the hearing, DA Alexis King, Todd Reeves, Division Chief of Investigations and Tina Hageman, Family Tree Chief Impact Officer all spoke of the importance of this critical issue facing not only our county, but the nation. They challenged all to work together by using every tool at our disposal and by refusing to never back down or give up when it comes to helping survivors and all those impacted by domestic violence.
