Commissioner Dahlkemper along with, County Manager Don Davis and County Treasurer Jerry DiTullio attended the much-anticipated groundbreaking event for the affordable housing development of 2275 Wadsworth on Wednesday, March 23. This project continues Jefferson County’s partnership with Archway Communities. Archway Board Chair, Robb Lapp, who the development is named after, Robinson Place, was in attendance as well.
As Jefferson County’s aging population continues to grow with rents increasing at alarming rates, this project will support the growing need for attainable housing for our aging adults. The county provided $750,000 in CDBG funds to help acquire the site. The community will have 67 units for seniors and veterans.
