Project Location:
Improvements were completed on County Road 65 (CR-65) between Evergreen Parkway and Bergen Parkway.

Project Background:
CR-65 is a main east-west roadway through the Bergen Park Activity Center in north Evergreen. A social path at the project site showed that many residents and visitors were crossing CR-65.
Project Scope:
The project installed Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant ramps, a crosswalk, and flashing pedestrian signs to create safe crossing of CR-65. It created an accessible connection between the housing and commerce on the north side of CR-65 to the regional trail, parks, open space, and Regional Transportation District (RTD) transportation center on the south side of CR-65.

Construction for this project was completed November 2021.
