Project Background:
During the summer of 2021, the existing corrugated metal showed signs of failure. The county responded to the failure with a temporary fix and installed a steel plate over the roadway.
Project Scope:
The project included replacement of the existing corrugated metal pipe with a reinforced concrete box culvert. The installed concrete box culvert has Redi-Rock wingwalls. The project also included installing riprap areas on the upstream and downstream sides of the culvert for erosion protection.
Project Schedule:
Construction for this project began at the end of October and is complete.
