Jefferson County's consultant completed the final design of West Quincy Avenue Phase 2 Roadway Reconstruction from South Beech Way to South Swadley Court. This will be second phase of the Quincy Avenue Corridor Improvements to widen the road to a major collector roadway standard. The project was bid out and awarded to Concrete Express Inc. (CEI) for $6,673,823.26.

Utilities:
Utility agencies and their contractors completed their respective underground utility line relocations in advance of the roadway reconstruction.
Schedule:
Work on West Quincy Avenue continues, so please drive slowly and use caution around the construction equipment and crews. The contractor is continuing with miscellaneous punch list items to complete the project.
