Jefferson County's consultant completed the final design of West Quincy Avenue Phase 2 Roadway Reconstruction from South Beech Way to South Swadley Court. This will be second phase of the Quincy Avenue Corridor Improvements to widen the road to a major collector roadway standard. The project was bid out and awarded to Concrete Express Inc. (CEI) for $6,673,823.26.

View this project on the Jeffco Roadway Project dashboard (an interactive mapping application). Under the Capital Improvement Project list at the right-hand side of the dashboard, scroll to and click "Quincy Phase 2 - Beech Way to Swadley Ct".

Utilities:

Utility agencies and their contractors completed their respective underground utility line relocations in advance of the roadway reconstruction.

Schedule:

West Quincy Avenue is open to through traffic. However, work is continuing, so please drive slowly and use caution around the construction equipment and crews. The contractor is finishing concrete work and other activities between South Swadley Court and South Beech Way.

Additionally, the top layer of asphalt and the final striping will be completed through Jefferson County Road and Bridge Division. This work is currently scheduled for the last week of September, 2023.
