Jefferson County completed the final design of West Quincy Avenue from South Beech Way to South Swadley Court. This will be second phase of the Quincy Avenue Corridor Improvements to widen the road to a major collector roadway standard. The project is currently out to bid.
View this project on the Jeffco Roadway Project dashboard (an interactive mapping application). Under the Capital Improvement Project list at the right-hand side of the dashboard, scroll to and click "Quincy Phase 2 - Beech Way to Swadley Ct".
Xcel Energy is working on gas line relocations and installation. Xcel Energy crews will be working on West Quincy Avenue and the neighborhood to the south.
The waterline installation by Lakehurst Water and Sanitation District is in progress. The waterline work is on schedule to be completed mid-August. There is a full closure of West Quincy Avenue between South Youngfield Street and South Swadley Court. Please follow the designated detour that is marked in yellow on the below map.

The Quincy Phase 2 Roadway Reconstruction is scheduled to begin in September 2022. The roadway project will progress from east to west along West Quincy Avenue, starting at South Swadley Court. Construction on West Quincy Avenue will be from September 2022 through June 2023.
