Jefferson County Public Health (JCPH) issued a public health order to close county buildings in Jefferson County, Colorado to the public. The order is in effect from March 18, 2020, at 5 p.m., and continuing until midnight on April 26, 2020, unless earlier amended, extended or rescinded by the Director of JCPH. However, this does not include certain law enforcement and courts services. Also, many offices are still able to provide services online or remotely. Please contact these departments directly and visit our COVID-19 web page for the latest updates on the virus and closures.
Governor Jared Polis has extended the statewide Stay-at-Home Order through April 26. Please continue to stay at home, and only leave if you must for critical services and activities. Public health models show social distancing is working, and we must all continue to do our part to slow the spread of COVID-19.
