Traffic citations must be paid no later than 20 days from the date the citation was issued. If not paid by that date, the notice becomes a summons, which requires a court appearance at the time and places indicated on the front of the summons.
A Jefferson County traffic or parking ticket issued by a Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputy can now be paid online. It may take up to four business days from the date the ticket is issued for the ticket to appear in the online database. Pay your ticket online.
Tickets issued by other law enforcement agencies, such as Lakewood, Arvada, Wheat Ridge or Westminster, as well as JCSO summonses that start with "JCSO" must be paid online at the state website here.
