Community Engagement

In the Clerk's office, we believe the government and the democratic process should work for all of Jeffco. From free and fair elections to friendly service and safe record keeping, we're building a Jeffco that welcomes and works for everyone. We can't do that alone--we need the people of Jeffco to contribute their ideas, experiences, and perspectives to guide our efforts.

Current Projects

The STEAM (Service, Transparency, Equity, Access, Modernization) Advisory Committee meets bimonthly to advise the Clerk's office on issues related to safeguarding the right to vote and serving the needs of constituents in modern and culturally responsive ways. >> Learn more about the STEAM Advisory Committee

The Clerk's Office is seeking designs for 2024's I Voted and Future Voter stickers. Artists of all ages are invited to submit their ideas that best capture the spirit of Jeffco and celebrate democracy. Submissions will be accepted in December and winners will be announced by early February 2024. >> Learn more about the sticker design contest

Past Projects

Over the summer of 2023, Jeffco had to redraw its county commissioner districts. While not required to have a public input process, the Clerk's office embraced the opportunity to engage in robust community conversation, culminating in a final map that will better serve Jeffco residents for the next decade. >> Learn more about Redistricting Jeffco
