The Finance Corporation was incorporated in 1985 as a Colorado nonprofit corporation and was created to facilitate County financings, including the acquisition of real estate, property and improvements for lease the County.
Enters into an Indenture of Trust with a Trustee Bank upon the County issuing Certificates of Participation whose proceeds will be used to finance identified projects.
The Finance Corporation consists of three members, appointed to a six (6) year term. No member shall serve more than two (2) consecutive terms. If requested by the Board of County Commissioners, a member may continue to serve after a term has expired while a new appointment is pending.
