Strategic Plan for Jefferson County
A strategic plan serves to set priorities, focus energy and resources, strengthen operations, and ensure that employees and other stakeholders are working toward common goals for the betterment of the organization. A strategic plan becomes an agreement that helps keep the county accountable for outcomes and results. It allows the county to continuously assess and adapt its direction in response to ever-changing environments.
The strategic plan consists of the county's vision, mission, values and strategic outcomes that expand into goals and metrics for those outcomes. This plan will help Jefferson County focus its financial resources on the most crucial community needs. In this way, Jefferson County’s strategic plan will serve as a roadmap to move both the county and the community toward its intended vision.
