Find the Right Talent

The Business Services team is available to meet with your organization to troubleshoot your needs and support you with the tools to find great employees. Recruiting and retention assistance includes reviewing job descriptions, generating custom labor market data, and marketing your open positions.

Custom labor market data is a great way to identify any weaknesses in your current recruitment and retention strategies. Analysis of average wages, unemployment rates, and industry patterns are key to strengthening your workforce pipeline.

Host Hiring Event

If your open positions are lacking suitable applicants, then a hiring event may be just what your business needs. Hiring events are a great way to attract a diverse pool of highly motivated candidates.

The Jefferson County Business & Workforce Center regularly hosts events ranging from large job fairs with dozens of employers, to customized hiring events for individual businesses. We can host on-site at our Employment Navigation Center (ENC) or bring the event to your location.

  • Multi-Employer: Connect with a larger candidate pool at an industry-focused event
  • Individual: Direct the focus on your business and attract specialized job seekers
