Health, Human and Community Services
Community Assistance Programs - Community Assistance programs include food assistance, Medicaid, and financial supports. Appointments will be 15-minute time frames to answer questions or provide status updates on applications & benefits.
Human Services - Learn more about the various services Human Services provides for children, families, aging adults, food, housing and more.
Public Health Clinic Services - The JCPH clinic has limited services operating at this time. Our current hours are:
- Open Monday and Wednesday by appointment only (closed Tuesday, Thursday and Friday)
- Phone hours for scheduling: Monday-Thursday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Please call 303-239-7078 if you need services such as immunizations, birth control prescriptions or referrals to other health services.
Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC): WIC is primarily completing appointments over the phone. There are only a few reasons that a participant would need to come into the office. If they need to come into the office, our Arvada and Lakewood offices are the only locations open to the public. (Wheat Ridge and Littleton locations are closed). Clients must call WIC first to set up a time to come in. Clients may need to come in for the following reasons - new client needing an eWIC card issued or a mom needing a pump issued.
Vital Records - We are accepting birth and death certificate requests via appointment only. We will also continue to accept these requests via email or fax. Mortuary deliveries are running daily. To make an appointment, call 303-271-6450.

Law Enforcement and Court Services
Court Services - First Judicial Courts is a separate entity from Jeffco. Please visit its site to learn more on how to make an appointment for court services or what you need to do before visiting.
Justice Services - make appointments for community service and pretrial services.
Sheriff's Office - Visit the Sheriff's Office web page to learn which services are online or by appointment only. This includes conceal handgun permits, jail visits, records, sex offender registration, and instructions before you visit any Sheriff's Office location or service.
Motor Vehicle Services
Motor Vehicle - Most services motor vehicle services can be done online. Learn more on the Motor Vehicle page.
Register Plates - Most registrations can be done online, but visit this page to make an appointment if you do need in-person services.
Title Services - Most title services can be done online, but visit this page to make an appointment if you do need in-person services.
Property and Land Services
Assessor's Office - in-person services regarding assessor property records are available by appointment.
Building Safety - or permit applications, digital plan reviews, field inspection information and links to our contractor portal to submit your permits.
Planning & Zoning - For land use, property permits and more, visit Planning & Zoning's page to make an appointment or learn what services are online.
Transportation & Engineering (T&E) - T&E provides professional services for planning, design and construction of county infrastructure, and management of stormwater runoff for the county. Make an appointment to meet with staff.
Archives - make an appointment with our archivist to see county historical records.
Equestrian Services - Visit our open ride page to learn more about this service offered at the Jeffco Fairgrounds and to make an appointment.
Passports - The Clerk and Recorder's Office offers passport services. Learn more and make your appointment.
Recording, Marriage Licenses, Civil Unions - The Recording division of the Clerk and Recorder's Office, handles records such as marriage licenses and more. Many transactions can be completed remotely but the office is taking appointments for specific services.
