Traffic Volume to Capacity Ratio

A volume to capacity (v/c) ratio measures the amount of traffic on a given roadway relative to the amount of traffic the roadway was designed to accommodate.  Jefferson County considers the v/c ratio in capital improvement projects and in determining roadway classifications.
