The Next Normal — Looking Ahead to COVID-19 Recovery
May 27, 2020 from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
On May 27, from 6:30-7:30 p.m., Jefferson County Public Health (JCPH) will host a telephone town hall focused on recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic. JCPH’s Executive Director, Dr. Mark B. Johnson, will provide a brief update on COVID-19, followed by a series of panelists speaking to what long-term recovery could look like, how to cope and the many resources available in Jefferson County to support our community during this time. Following the short presentation, community members will have an opportunity to ask questions and engage with the panel.
How to join: At 6:30 p.m., we will randomly call 50,000 residents to take part in the telephone town hall. If you don’t receive a call, you can still participate by calling 855-695-3486. Residents can also sign up to receive a phone call by texting JEFFCO to 833-TXT-LIVE (833-898-5483). Please note this town hall is also available in Spanish — if you would like to participate in the call in Spanish, please call 855-543-3424.
La nueva normalidad: mirando al futuro en la recuperación de COVID-19: El 27 de mayo
El 27 de mayo, de 6:30-7:30 p.m., Jefferson County Public Health (Salud Publica del Condado Jefferson) organizará un evento telefónico acerca de la recuperación de la pandemia COVID-19. El Director Ejecutivo del departamento de salud, Dr. Mark B. A Conversation with the BCC: April 22
The Board of County Commissioners hosted a virtual telephone town hall on Wednesday, April 22, from 5:45-6:45 p.m. to provide an update about how the COVID-19 crisis is affecting our Jefferson County community, its businesses and those in need. Following the short presentation, community members had an opportunity to ask questions and engage with the panel.

Coping with COVID-19: JCPH & Jefferson Center
On April 9, Jefferson County Public Health (JCPH) and Jefferson Center hosted a telephone town hall focused on maintaining mental health and well-being during the COVID-19 pandemic. JCPH’s Executive Director, Dr. Mark B. Johnson, provided a brief update on COVID-19 in Jefferson County. Jefferson Center’s CEO, Kiara Kuenzler, and several other experts shared mental health and wellness tips as well as local resources to support our community during this time. Community members also had an opportunity to ask questions and engage with the panel.
