COVID-19 Updates for Childcare Providers - August 11, 2022
Childcare and preschool providers, owners and operators were invited to join Jefferson County Public Health (JCPH) for a telephone town hall on August 11, 2022 to discuss recommendations and best-practice public health guidance on how to keep the young children in their care healthy during back-to-school season. JCPH provided a data update, and The JCPH Infectious Disease Epidemiology Team was on hand for the Q&A portion of the evening (not recorded to protect provider privacy). Heading Back to School with COVID-19: Guidance for Parents & Caregivers - August 12, 2021
Parents and caregivers of school-aged children were invited to join Jefferson County Public Health (JCPH) for a telephone town hall on August 12, 2021 to discuss how to protect students from COVID-19 as the next school year begins. There were panelists from JCPH and Colorado Academy on the call to share tips and answer questions. Moving Forward Through COVID-19: Vaccination, Testing and Community Resources - December 17, 2020
Jefferson County Public Health, along with the Board of County Commissioners, hosted a telephone town hall about COVID-19 on Thursday, December 17, 2020, at 5:30 p.m. During this over-the-phone meeting, Jeffco Public Health experts discussed important COVID-19 issues in Jefferson County, including how we are doing with COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations and what to expect as vaccinations become available. We will also provide information on what we as a community can do to slow the spread and the resources available to the Jeffco community. Preparing for a Healthy Fall with COVID-19 in Our Lives: August 24, 2020
On August 24 de 2020, JCPH hosted a telephone town hall focused on how to protect your family from COVID-19 over the coming months. We covered a variety of topics, including a brief update on COVID-19 trends and the county’s response, how to safely celebrate Labor Day weekend as well as what to expect this flu season. We also had a Jeffco resident share their story about getting and overcoming the virus. Asamblea pública telefónica: Preparándonos para un otoño saludable con el COVID-19 presente en nuestras vidas: 24 de Agosto de 2020
El día 24 de Agosto del 2020, el Departamento de Salud Pública del Condado de Jefferson organizó una asamblea pública telefónica enfocada en cómo proteger del COVID-19 a su familia durante los próximos meses. The Next Normal — Looking Ahead to COVID-19 Recovery: May 27, 2020
On May 27, 2020 JCPH hosted a telephone town hall in English and Spanish focused on recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic. JCPH’s Executive Director, Dr. Mark B. Johnson, provided a brief update on COVID-19, followed by a series of panelists speaking to what long-term recovery could look like, how to cope and the many resources available in Jefferson County to support our community during this time.

A Conversation with the BCC: April 22, 2020
The Board of County Commissioners hosted a virtual telephone town hall on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 from 5:45-6:45 p.m. to provide an update about how the COVID-19 crisis is affecting our Jefferson County community, its businesses and those in need. Following the short presentation, community members had an opportunity to ask questions and engage with the panel.

Coping with COVID-19: JCPH & Jefferson Center
On April 9, 2020 Jefferson County Public Health (JCPH) and Jefferson Center hosted a telephone town hall focused on maintaining mental health and well-being during the COVID-19 pandemic. JCPH’s Executive Director, Dr. Mark B. Johnson, provided a brief update on COVID-19 in Jefferson County. Jefferson Center’s CEO, Kiara Kuenzler, and several other experts shared mental health and wellness tips as well as local resources to support our community during this time. Community members also had an opportunity to ask questions and engage with the panel.
