The county does not issue driver’s licenses. The Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles issues driver’s licenses or identification cards.

Changes to Renewal Tab Envelopes
If you renew online for 2020 and 2024 (Collector Series) tabs, you will receive the new format envelopes. The new format does not display the year tab in the window but is included in the envelope. There will be a $4.28 fee to replace lost or discarded tabs.

Colorado has established a vehicle emission-testing program designed to help improve air quality in and around Denver, Boulder and the Northern Front Range.
You must have Colorado insurance coverage on the vehicle you wish to register. Insurance in the previous owners’ name is not acceptable.
