SRTS in Jeffco: A Story Map

Jeffco Safe Routes to School (SRTS) created a story map that describes one of the ways we can use data to evaluate the built environment around our schools (including sidewalks, crosswalks, intersections, transit stops, parks, etc.), and use that data to identify gaps in infrastructure — all as part of a decision-making process when determining safe routes to schools. This story map tool can also support policy recommendations and infrastructure improvements. The maps show Mountain Phoenix Community, Fairmount Elementary and Van Arsdale Elementary schools.
