Strategic Planning

The Jefferson County Public Health Strategic Plan provides a roadmap that fosters a shared understanding of what the department plans to achieve, how it will achieve it and how it will know whether efforts are successful. The priorities are updated every three years while the projects aimed at addressing the priorities are updated annually. The 2022-2023 plan was developed through a collaborative internal process and is grounded in best practices outlined by the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO).
