Clyde W. Morris was elected Commissioner in 1944 and resigned in November 1946. He was born on a farm in Wheat Ridge and lived most of his life in Arvada where he was a wheat and vegetable farmer, and raised ten children. For many years he served as a produce judge at the Colorado State Fair and the Arvada Harvest Festival. Commissioner Morris served on the Arvada School Board for 11 years, was a lifetime member of the Enterprise Grange and was an active Republican committeeman.
