Town Halls

One tool the county is using to provide, and update, constituents on important county business is telephone town halls. This popular way to reach out has helped the commissioners stay in touch with thousands of Jefferson County residents; provide a platform for asking questions of the board; and, provide feedback to the commissioners on issues facing the county.

April 18, 2022 - 6 p.m.

The Board of County Commissioners held a live telephone town hall on the evening of April 18 and called 50,000 randomly selected phone numbers. During this one-hour, over the phone meeting, the commissioners discussed the county's funding challenges. Jefferson County Chief Financial Officer Dr. Stephanie Corbo and Strategy and Budget Director Dan Conway, presented information on the financial realities the county is facing, TABOR and how our community is impacted by the county's funding challenges.
