Town Halls

One tool the county is using to provide, and update, constituents on important county business is telephone town halls. This popular way to reach out has helped the commissioners stay in touch with thousands of Jefferson County residents; provide a platform for asking questions of the board; and, provide feedback to the commissioners on issues facing the county.

Board of County Commissioners - April 22, 2020

The Board of County Commissioners hosted a virtual telephone town hall on Wednesday, April 22, from 5:45-6:45 p.mto provide an update about how the COVID-19 crisis is affecting our Jefferson County community, its businesses and those in need. 2019 Telephone Town Hall

The Board of County Commissioners hosted a live telephone town hall May 8 and approximately 100,000 randomly selected phone numbers were called to participate in this one-hour over the phone meeting.
