Jefferson County Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Needs Assessment

Jefferson County’s Department of Human Services contracted with Joining Vision and Action in 2017 to facilitate a comprehensive community needs assessment (CNA) designed to better understand current needs and assets of lower-income community residents and those who serve this community, with specific focus on the nine federal objectives of the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG): employment; education and cognitive development; income, infrastructure and asset building; housing; health and social/behavioral development; civic engagement and community involvement; services supporting multiple domains; linkages; and agency capacity building.
