Connect for Health ColoradoConnect for Health Colorado is Colorado’s Health Insurance Marketplace, the only place to apply for financial assistance to help reduce your costs and get access to free, in-person help available statewide. While Jefferson County Human Services does not have health coverage guides to assist customers, the agencies listed offer no-cost, in-person enrollment assistance. This is a list of organizations (PDF) that provide assistance to customers of Connect for Health Colorado and is not an official Connect for Health Colorado list.

Health Care Reform

The Affordable Care Act puts consumers back in charge of their health care. Under the law, a new “Patient’s Bill of Rights” gives the American people the stability and flexibility they need to make informed choices about their health.

Medicaid Expansion

In January 2014, Medicaid eligibility requirements expanded to 133% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) for all individuals. The expansion of Medicaid will allow more than 160,000 Coloradans to gain access to Medicaid. You can access Colorado PEAK to see if you are currently eligible for Medicaid. The Health Insurance Marketplace helps people who are not eligible for Medicaid.
