Colorado Quest Card (EBT)

Food Assistance benefits are issued on an electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card, called the Colorado Quest Card. It looks like a credit or bank card and can be used at any authorized store across the country. 

Accepted Use

You can use it to buy foods such as: 

  • Breads
  • Cereals
  • Dairy Products
  • Fish
  • Fruits
  • Meat
  • Poultry
  • Seeds and plants which produce food for the household to eat
  • Vegetables

Prohibited Use

You cannot use it to buy any nonfood items such as:

  • Beer
  • Cigarettes
  • Cosmetics
  • Household Supplies
  • Liquor
  • Medicines
  • Paper Products
  • Pet Foods
  • Soaps
  • Tobacco
  • Toothpaste
  • Vitamins
  • Wine
