Environmental health staff, under contract with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, Air Pollution Control Division, inspects a variety of fixed facilities, such as quarries, asphalt batch plants, dry cleaners, auto body shops, printers and other sources of air pollution.
All emissions sources must submit air pollutant emission notices (APENs) to the Air Pollution Control Division before beginning construction or start-up. See the links below for current regulations and forms required for air pollution sources:
