- Domestic Violence Program
The Misdemeanor Domestic Violence Program is designed to assist first-time, low-level offenders in becoming last-time offenders, by providing the counseling services they need, and giving them an opportunity to have their criminal case dismissed. It is generally a twelve-month program.
The program serves domestic violence offenders and assures that offenders receive the Domestic Violence Offender Management Board's (DVOMB) recommendation treatment for their offenses. The program is supervised by a licensed clinical professional, and is staffed by a combination of paid and volunteer Diversion officers.
