Breastfeeding

Lactation-Friendly Places in Jeffco

Babies thrive on human milk. Over 90 percent of Colorado parents begin nursing and need support from their community to be successful in meeting their lactation goals. As part of the Colorado Health Institute's Advancing Breastfeeding in Colorado project [external link] and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment's Maternal Child Health grant [external link], we provide training, funds and support for employers, child cares and health care providers to become lactation friendly designated.
