Training & Advancement
At Jefferson County, you are encouraged to show up as your authentic self in order to achieve your goals. Whatever those goals may be, you can participate in leadership classes, attend educational conferences, and engage in industry-leading development courses. Our full-time employees are eligible for up to $2,000.00 annually in tuition reimbursement towards coursework that is relevant to their current position or future position within the county.

Employee Recognition Programs
Jefferson County recognizes its employees monthly with employee recognition events and local event discounts, like Denver Nugget and Avalanche games. Service awards are distributed annually to thank employees for their dedication to civil service. Employee ‘shout-outs’ are also encouraged on our internal site where peers can recognize one another on their outstanding achievements.
