Targeted sectors are determined by established, growing and strong industry clusters across Jefferson County. Based on local economic factors, Business Services identified the following targeted sectors:
- Advanced Manufacturing
- Health and Wellness
- Software Development
Additionally, the Tri-County Workforce Development Board (TCWDB) is exploring other sectors based on the needs of the area and local economy.
The Rapid Response Team serves companies facing corporate restructuring and downsizing with a confidential and cooperative effort between Workforce Services, the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment and the Unemployment Insurance Program.
Services are designed to benefit employers and employees by providing information about the Dislocated Worker Program and other useful information and assistance with employment-related needs.
Fourteen key industries were identified as critical to Colorado’s economy through the analysis of labor market data and the development of the Governor’s bottom-up, statewide economic development plan, the Colorado Blueprint.
