The annual responsible Speed Test Night program, or formally 'Take it to the Track,' provides teens with a safe, legal, and fun environment in which to satisfy their need for speed.
The goal of this program is to discourage teens from participating in street racing, while encouraging their participation in the sanctioned alternative of legal track racing. This event invites young participants to challenge the participating officer of their choice to a drag race down the mile track at Bandimere Speedway in Morrison.
Events take place on Wednesday evenings during the summer and early fall. For more information, please contact your school resource officer or the Colorado State Patrol at 303-239-4500.
