Transparent Jeffco allows Citizens the Opportunity for Input

Everyday, your Jefferson County Commissioners and staff members work on ways to improve and simplify your interactions with the county. We are always looking for new ways to be accessible and foster communication, accountability and trust. Your feedback helps us shape the future of our county for the benefit of all county residents.

Transparent Jeffco Citizen Input Meetings

You're invited to four citizen input meetings, which are designed to give you an opportunity to weigh in on important issues. Venues include Littleton, Lakewood, Evergreen, and Aravda!

Board of County Commissioners' Citizen Input Meetings

The Jefferson County Board of Commissioners held four Citizen Input Meetings in the fall of 2009, designed to give people the opportunity to weigh in on important issues and tell Commissioners what services and programs are most important to them.

The meetings took place during the last two weeks of October and the first week of November. Citizens learned about the current state of the county, used an interactive keypad system to answer questions from Commissioners, and had the opportunity to ask questions and comment on the issues that matter most to them.

At each Citizen Input Meeting, the Commissioners used a keypad technology that allowed those attending to give their feedback on some specific questions about the county budget, Transparency Initiative and other items.

You can view citizen feedback and meeting materials from each of the meetings below.

A report comparing results from all meetings (pdf) was also compiled.
