If you smoke or live with someone who smokes, it is important for the health and safety of everyone as well as household pets that smoking is only permitted outside, away from doors, windows, vents and other people.
Our goal is to reduce the number of Colorado infants, children, teenagers, and adults exposed to tobacco smoke and to reinforce the importance of smoke-free work, living, and social environments. |
If you live in a multi-unit housing complex (apartments, condos or townhomes) and suffer from smoke intrusion into your home, the information and resources below may be of assistance.
Up to 60% of the air in your residence comes from adjacent units. Secondhand smoke cannot be controlled by ventilation or air cleaning. The only solution to this problem is to make buildings smoke-free. |
