Cheezo Goes to School
Cheezo, the yellow five foot cool cat and program mascot, and DA Investigators Mike and Cassandra Harris go to elementary schools to talk to second, third and fourth graders about the dangers on the Internet. They found that 50% of elementary school age children have their own passwords to access the Internet. They also found that 40% of children from 6th grade through high school sleep with their cell phone. Parents need to consider a curfew for cell phones where they are then turned over to parents at a certain time at night.
Cheezo leaves children with a challenge to draw pictures of him and also of the safety messages they have learned.
