Boards & Commissions: Board of Review

Duties:
Hear appeals and make special exceptions to the Building Code in quasi-judicial hearings and may suggest amendments to the Building Code

Required or suggested qualifications:
Must be experienced in building construction. Traditionally, board members have included a registered architect, a registered professional engineer, a building contractor and a citizen.

Meetings:
Monthly, as required, on 3rd Thursday of the month in the afternoon

Number of persons and length of terms:

  • Three (3) regular members, three (3) year term
  • One (1) alternate member, one (1) year term

Remuneration:
$15.00 per meeting
