Boards & Commissions: Scientific and Cultural Facilities District Board

Number of openings: 0

Duties:
Review grant applications from scientific and cultural facilities, distribute funds according to formulas, and allocate 10 percent discretionary funds.

Meetings:
Third Thursday of the month at 12:30 p.m., special meetings as needed.

Number of persons and length of terms:

  • Nine (9) member Board of Directors, with one representative from each of the six metropolitan counties (Jefferson, Adams, Boulder, Denver, Arapahoe and Douglas) and three appointed by the Governor.
  • Three (3) year term. No member shall serve more the two succeeding terms
